Our departure lounge at Essendon Airport is conveniently located 20 minutes from the city. We can organise a private shuttle service (call us on +61 3 9118 8841) or you can make your own way to Essendon Fields Airport. If you decide to drive, free on-site parking is available directly next to the hangar. There is also a local tram and bus stop within a 10-minute walk of Hangar 7. We will securely look after any large luggage items for you while you fly if you have just arrived in Melbourne or are on your way out.
When you arrive, choose from a selection of complimentary beverages and kick your feet up in our comfortable private passenger lounge. When ready, you will be guided through our hangar and provided a safety briefing by your pilot. Let your pilot know if you would like any photos so they can snap a pic of you and your fellow passengers in front of your helicopter. Once on board, sit back, relax and enjoy the ride.
Whatever you are comfortable in for the weather on the day. Your helicopter is protected from the elements and has a collection of air vents to keep you cool. There is also a heater which will keep you warm in the chillier Melbourne months.
We can fit small luggage inside the aircraft, however you will really only need a phone to take pictures with. If you would like to avoid the hassle of snapping pics, we offer a full HD video recording of the flight for $60. The video will be emailed to you after the flight and available for you to download. Please refrain from bringing food and drink with you on the aircraft.
